SITTING WITH MORE EASE: A FELDENKRAIS WORKSHOP
Most of us spend many hours daily sitting in a chair. Back, shoulder or neck pain can sometimes be provoked by how we sit. Through Feldenkrais lessons and applying their principles, this workshop sets out to guide the participants to explore and begin to find their own solutions. Rather than imposing a way of sitting, the workshop sets out to give the participants their own experience, along with some clear and simple principles which can be useful beyond the time of the workshop.
The Feldenkrais Method was created by the scientist Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. The group lessons are a means of becoming more aware, efficient, free, and capable in the use of one's body and one's movements. No previous experience is necessary.
