Molly Bloom by James Joyce
ames Joyce's, Molly Bloom, arguably one of the most famous female characters in literature, bares her soul on love, life, sex and loneliness. Sensuous, compelling and at times hugely funny, this is the only time throughout Joyce's seminal novel Ulysses, where Molly's voice is heard.
Eilin O'Dea's performance of the Molly Bloom Soliloquy was hailed as "every inch the sensualist Joyce imagined" in Peter Crawley's Review in the Irish Times.
Theatre critic Sara Keating praised O'Dea's performance as "brilliantly capturing the nuances of Molly's rambling mind" and the Metro Heral awarded her performance with 4*.
O'Dea has performed her show both in Europe and most recently was honored to perform at Bloomsday on Broadway where USA weekly described O'Dea's interpretation of Molly, as "Absolute Artistic Genius".
