(UK, 2015) (Director: Rufus Norris. Play by Carol Ann Duffy, based on the 14th century play. Cast: Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dermot Crowley Penny Layden.

BAFTA winner and Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) takes the title role in the new production of a Medieval drama - one of England's oldest - brought into the 21st century by Britain's poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy! One of the great primal myths follows a heedless Everyman, who is successful, popular and riding high when Death suddenly comes calling. He is forced to abandon his hedonistic life and embark on a frantic search to recruit a friend, anyone, to speak in his defense. But Death is close behind, and time is running out...
