Food Culture Series Part 1: The Food Chain
Atrium Kitchen in Pike Place Market
Seattle, WA
Share this event:

Join Seattle Ginger's Chef Jennifer Asmundson and her friends Tracey Baker, Ranch Manager of The Gleason Ranch and Tracy Smaciraz, Owner/Butcher at Heritage Meats for an evening of learning about the best sort of farming, harvesting, butchering processes, and how to pay respects to our food chain by responsible business practices.  Listen to the full story of a local, multigenerational ranch and hear about the daily operations of raising self sustaining, zero antibiotics, free range and 100% grass fed beef.  Experience the breakdown of a primal cut of beef by artisan butcher Tracy Smaciraz. Then enjoy a gourmet four course meal (with wine pairing if desired) featuring meats directly from The Gleason Ranch and Heritage Meats, created and served by Chef Jennifer and her culinary team, right there in the Pike Place Atrium Kitchen.
