Cider Hill Farm Music Festival (aka Locavore Festival)
On July 25th, Cider Hill Farm will host its third annual music festival, previously billed as the Locavore Food, Music & Arts Festival. This year's festival co-headliners are Jacob Augustine and Kenya Hall. Jacob Augustine is a folk musician from northern Maine. With four albums released to date, Jacob's wide-ranging talent shines through with full-band compositions to sparse, yet captivating, solo recordings. Kenya Hall, a singer-songwriter out of Portland, found her voice in her own music. With her first album released in 2010, she has taken a fresh take on old soul. Both of these co-headliners are true examples of musicians who excel at live performances. Also taking the stage this year are The Work Trucks, Lauren Crosby and Meghan Clark, each with recent recorded material to share. Early bird tickets are on sale now until July 24th for $12 per person. Tickets will also be available for cash purchase at the gate the day of the festival for $15. Kids under age 14 are free when accompanied by an adult. For more information, participate as a vendor or to purchase tickets, please visit our website at: www.LocavoreFestival.com.
Music starts at 2pm with Meghan Clark, a 15 year old singer/songwriter from Calais, Maine! Following Meghan is Lauren Crosby, a native of Georgetown. The Work Trucks, hailing from Woolwich, will take the stage at 4pm. Jacob Augustine, a native of Northern Maine, will kick of the headliners show at 5:30pm while Kenya Hall, Portland, will close out the Festival at 7:30pm.
On-site food and beverages available. Please no coolers. Chairs and blankets are encouraged. Festival grounds are open to lawn games as well.
