Let's Talk About Sex!

Just in time for Chicago's annual PRIDE festivities, Democracy Burlesque gets real about sex. Gay sex, queer sex, cis-gender heterosexual sex. Every which way sex including loose, everything-on-it sex. Color us blue as the parades go from rainbow to red, white & blue sex. There'll be fireworks, too and Democracy Burlesque will light the fuse to get the party started!

Democracy Burlesque Chicago's Premiere Political Sketch Comedy Company -- returns to the revamped Mary's Attic in Andersonville for its next revue: LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX SKETCH COMEDY ABOUT PRIDE, POLITICS, AND POWER BOTTOMS. LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX features world-premiere sketches written by their crack Writers of Wrongs, performed by their crack house troupe, The Actors of Evil, and rounds out each show with some of Chicago's best standup, musical, and dance acts. Each show has a different Guest Act, so every night is unique!

LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX also features another Democracy Burlesque staple: a Cause Celebre a worthy nonprofit using shows to talk about their work and raise a little money and awareness and LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX will help raise money for Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble, the Illinois Choice Action Team, and more to be announced!

Performances are on Tuesday evenings beginning June 23 through July 28 with an Independence Day break on July 7. All tickets are $15. Mary's Attic is located at 5400 North Clark Street, above Hamburger Mary's Restaurant come for a burger or a beer, stay for a Dirty Politik cocktail in the new, cool, clubby atmosphere of the Attic.
