Shirley E. Barnhart Dinner Convesation feat. Daphne Jackson
These dinner conversation invite speakers to come and discuss topics over food when it comes to our economy, environment, society, and culture. This program is dedicated to the Foundation's aunt and godmother who passed in 2013. It was also revealed that Shirley had ovarian cancer, so a portion of the ticket sales will go towards ovarian cancer research.
The guest speaker is with activist Daphne Jackson. The conversation will be centered around racism in the 21st Century. Does racism still linger in our institutions or are they the same concepts with a new look?
