Portrait Intensive Workshop with Laurel S. Boeck
Laurel Stern Boeck, nationally acclaimed portrait artist, will teach a portrait painting workshop Friday, July 10th to Sunday, July 12th. Class will be held from 9:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The three-day workshop is hosted by the Bent of the River Audubon Center and the Pomperaug Outdoor Painters in Southbury CT. Oil painters who are fascinated with capturing the likeness and character of a person will want to register. Portrait fundamentals will be reviewed to set up the live model and create a strong painting. Composition, tips for achieving accuracy, attention to values, seeing warm and cool color and tips on working with edges will be discussed and utilized. Be prepared to be inspired, work hard, make new friends and most of all have fun. All levels.
Classes will be held at the Bent of the River, located off CT Route 172 at 185 East Flathill Road in Southbury.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing. Prior to July 1, 2015, a $50 cancellation fee will be retained for each cancellation. For cancellations after 7/1/15, tuition is not refundable unless the Bent of the River is able to fill the space. We cannot be responsible for issuing refunds, or credits for classes missed due to illness, emergencies or events beyond our control. If a workshop is cancelled by Audubon Bent of the River Center, all money will be promptly refunded. Supplies and Equipment
