Texas Woman's University Department of Dance will host the 7th Annual Texas Dance Improvisation Festival October 8th-10th, 2015.
A three-day festival, TDIF celebrates improvisational dance in Texas and beyond by coming together to share, inspire and challenge our improvising arts community.
This year, we are thrilled to have Darrell Jones as the guest artist. TWU Associate Professors, Jordan Fuchs and Sarah Gamblin will be hosting the festival.
To continue to make TDIF affordable for everyone who would like to attend, the registration fee for TDIF is only $10 with a sliding scale for those who can afford to pay more. Pay what you can. The money that you give goes directly to supporting TDIF and the artists.
We have reached capacity and registration is now closed. We hope to see you at TDIF 2016!
TDIF opens with a Thursday night jam from 7-10pm, followed by two days of classes, performances, and jams with well-known teachers from Texas and beyond. Saturday night will feature performances by Darrell Jones and festival faculty, and a closing jam.
