TATS: the experience

As a seductive and sexy play, TATS: The experience literally is a live performing arts experience, complete with acting, dancing, shadow puppetry, an original score, body art, and more.

Body art is not new, but this play's treatment of it as theatrical fodder is entirely unique and original. The play explores 16 characters (played by 7 actors) who have each experienced tattoos in a variety of ways. Through the use of multiple theatrical mediums, we learn their dramatic, tragic, and often humorous stories, and come to an understanding of what makes body art such a complicated and uniquely human art form.

Opens July 24th with shows on Friday & Saturdays @ 8p and 10p.
