"Around the World in Seattle" Film Premiere
Have you ever wondered whether it is possible to see the world without leaving your hometown? Come find out at the world premiere of "Around the World in Seattle," a short film that highlights the diversity of Seattle by following in the footsteps of OneWorld Now! students.
OneWorld Now! teamed up with The Nicholas Sparks Foundation to create this short film, in which seven high school students take each other on a tour of places that are special to their heritage and identity.
The premiere will include a panel. We'll hear the reactions of the student participants and their reflections on cross-cultural dialogue and exchange with peers from around Seattle. Post-premiere, the film will be used in K-12 classrooms across the country to spark important conversations about diversity.
