Gotham Dance Theater presents "Ophelia"
Fresh from the sold-out engagement of "Fade to Black" at Times Square's The Tank, Gotham Dance Theater will be presenting a one-night gala performance of its summer play "Ophelia" at West Side Dance Project in Hell's Kitchen on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 8 p.m. "Ophelia" is a comedy about a hot new actor who is cast as Ophelia in an all-male production of "Hamlet" on Broadway. Unfortunately, he knows as much about women as he does about acting.
Part love letter to the entertainment industry and part vicious indictment of traditional gender roles, all proceeds from the performance of this new play will go toward making Gotham Dance Theater's 2015-2016 season a reality.
