Broomfield Grange World Music Series: Zuruna, Music of Israel and Palestine

Participate in the revival of the Broomfield Crescent Grange as a focal point for building inclusive community around sustainable living. Don't miss this intimate introduction to the rhythms and sounds of Arabic music with Zuruna, a Denver-based traditional Middle Eastern music ensemble. Lead vocalist Katrin Payan, an Israeli native whose repertoire includes Palestinian songs, is passionate about using music as a bridge to promote peace among world cultures.

This concert is the first in a series to raise funds to restore our nearly 100-year-old building. Ticket prices reflect suggested donation.

Doors open at 7 p.m.; music begins at 8 p.m., with a short intermission. Stay afterward to meet the musicians!

Here's how to find us:

From east Broomfield and 120th Ave.: Travel west on 120th Ave. until it curves around by the Grease Monkey. Turn left behind the Grease Monkey, onto the OLD 120th Avenue where the old silos are. Continue west about a half a block. The Grange is the historic while building on the right with the dirt parking lot.

From Boulder Turnpike, west Broomfield: Take Highway 287 East toward central Broomfield. About 1/4 mile before you intersect with Main Street, turn right just past the Grease Monkey. You'll see the old silos. Continue west about a half a block. The Grange is the historic white building on the right with the dirt parking lot.
