CAMELOT
The musical version of the story of England's King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot, and the Knights of the Round Table, Camelot becomes the set for a tale of love and chivalry. King Arthur, aided by his Queen, Guenevere, decrees that all who sit at the Round Table be charged with redressing past wrongs and aiding the oppressed. In France, Lancelot heeds the call of the Round Table and in the process of attaining knighthood, he and Guenevere fall in love. Arthur's court, led by Knights Sirs Dinadan, Lionel, and Sagramore, watch to see how the love story will unfold, complicated by the evil Mordred and the Enchantress Morgan Le Fay.
Camelot is produced by arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc., 560 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022. Book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Frederick Lowe.
