Comedian Michael Anderson believes that life is a puzzle missing most of the pieces. That absurdity doesn't stop him from trying, even if it leaves him up at 4 AM cursing the universe in his bathrobe. If life isn't going to look like the picture on the box, then you might as well have a little fun - mostly at the expense of those still trying to put things together. Michael was a finalist in the Killer Laughs Comedy Competition and a regular at The Purple Onion in San Francisco. Some say that the truth is hard to find, but not when Morgan is on stage. As a vivacious transgender comedian, Morgan has been described as "a transgender super hero," by LA Weekly. She may not have a cape or be able to fly, but this transgender avenger has traveled from one end of the country to the other, telling her story on any stage with a mic, including Austin Texas's Bed Post Confessions, numerous Bay Area Bawdy Storytelling Shows, The Manhattan and L.ARisk Show, and even as Headliner of the Vallejo Pride Festival.
An advocate for transgender issues, Morgan has been interviewed by KPFAin a piece called "Transgendered Patients Confront Bias In Healthcare," she's currently coproducer of Tuesday's Child on Wednesday the successful variety show in Bernal Heights she also produces the monthly peephole show at Pinhole coffee.. she bills herself as a standingup storyteller She was also one of KQED'S and StoryCorps first live OutLoud storytellers in their first show.
