Come join us at the Gene Frankel Theatre for a full week of nonstop theatre. Please look below to find the play descriptions as well as performances and times. Each block of shows will have anywhere from 2-4 shows in that one show block. Please be prepared to stay for all shows in the given show block. Tickets $15 in advance, $18 at the door.

Block A - Performances Wednesday June 10 6pm & Friday June 12 8pm

Water Rise - Dana Kinsey
A cosmopolitan artist conjures her best friend who has recently died during a Manhattan rooftop party while the man who captivates both of them sleeps in the same room. This mystical tale takes a closer look at the envy and competition that can sometimes drive a friendship to the lowest depths and also the enduring love that can suspend it forever. When two highly creative, successful women reveal their darkest secrets, they can only be left with light.  

The Rooftop- Felicia Sokol
A young woman disrupts a young physics student from his studies for a night. She convinces him to trespass onto the rooftop library where they continue their intimate conversations. But as the night comes to a close, the young woman is forced to reveal a secret that she's been keeping from him the whole night.

45 Coffee Dates-  Antonia Kasper
With her biological clock ticking, thirty-eight year old New Yorker Rachel Yardley is propelled into doing something that goes against everything she believes inOnline Dating. Challenged by her sister's dare, Rachel begins her own speed dating at Starbucks.   While reliving abandonment issues with her father through various coffee dates, see if Rachel discovers the greatest love of all!

The swaying of two former lovers with a turbulent past and an inevitable future.  


Light and Shadow - Julie Richardson
Christmas Eve wouldn't be complete without your son bringing home an aging felon, a spot of homophobic violence and a dream of a beach in Greece. With this peaceful backdrop, Nancy and Marvin discover that the path to divorced bliss never did run smooth!

Alassin Sane: An Evening Filled With Feeling- Aston McClanahan
Cosmic pop music adventure onboard the spaceship of your heart/ What if you could talk to David Bowie about love?
Original songs and text written and performed by Aston Hollins McClanahan

Oak and Ash and Thorn- Casey Keenan Joiner
Aoife agrees to go on a date with the charming and charismatic Vinny, though their cultural backgrounds threaten to kill their relationship before it can even begin. "Oak and Ash and Thorn" examines the harsh societal stigmas in 1980's New York, including the struggle of many second-generation Americans to negotiate the balance between familial traditions and their own cultural identities.


Haram- Regine Mont-Louis
Aminah Izedi has spent a whirlwind semester abroad in London and has returned home to her native Iran. Giddy with excitement, she can't wait to dish about her adventures and newfound sense of self. Suddenly her mother becomes ill and her father's business suffers a setback. Trying to be the good daughter, she takes it upon herself to help out in any way she can. However, a violent incident coupled with the stifling climate yield fatal results for the Izedi family.

Dog- Mieko Gavia
An upright young man's life is changed forever when an enigmatic young woman crosses his path. But while he sees her as a curiosity, she sees herself as something altogether different. Dog examines society's vocabulary about race, mental health, sex, and our sense of self while telling a simple human story.



The Third Wish - Lisa Monde
It is in human nature  the wish to be the Master of the World. The aspiration for taking someone else's place rarely goes unpunished and the folk fairy tales constantly remind us of the fact. Two very different characters being given a chance to make a wish that will be fulfilled, strive for self-exaltation.


Present Tense - Rachel Kunstadt
Jamie answers Talia's ad on Craigslist for a roommate. The two women cohabitate in a small Manhattan apartment filled with panic attacks, secrets, lesbians, and brunch.
