Hoopla Presents: Willie Barcena
Comedian Willie Barcena is an 18-year comedy veteran, never shies away from a challenge. He just completed a two year run with The Morning Show on KSFM 102.5 Sacramento. During that time The Morning Show shot to the number one spot in this highly competitive market.
Willie's talent has garnered him 10 appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Jay even invited Willie to perform for the troops in Afghanistan. Barcena helped provide much-needed laughter to that part of the world.
Comedian Bruce Jingles is always eager to offer insight into everything from the political to the preposterous, his material is largely based on personal experiences and observations that were "born in the world in between the comic book store and the local weed house, and all of the other bullshit in between".
A hardened veteran of the inland club circuit, Bruce's So Cal based comedy has taken him literally, all over the world. Bruce, "The absolutely coolest gigs that I've ever done have been the USO gigs. I mean these are the guys that can best appreciate a good laugh." Bruce's work for the USO has taken him to The Balkans, Iraq (twice) and Germany.
Comedian Shaun Latham incites uncontrollable laughter in audiences with his no-holds-barred brand of observational humor and riffs on dating, discount sites, hip hop culture, and other everyday life situations and scenarios.
With his first big screen appearance in the independent film "I'm Not Like That No More" alongside Paul Rodriguez and Felipe Esparza in 2009, Shaun showed his range as an all-around performer.
Comedian Rick Izquieta showcased his stand-up comedy set December 2013 on the Starz TV Network comedy show "STAANN' DUP!!", hosted by Donnell Rawlings of Comedy Central's Dave Chappelle Show.
Rick creates comedy sketches on Funny or Die, has been the voice for Black Belt TV's MMA fights and Montejo Beer commercial. You can also find Rick's stand-up on Sirius Radio and You Tube.
