O'Theatre at O'Tooles presents You Fancy Yourself
You Fancy Yourself by Maja Ardal. A staged reading starring Kelly Kennedy. Directed by Keri Wormald
The Women's Mercury is back with a second series of readings in O'Toole's Back Room (4800 Forest Hill Avenue, RVA, 23225). Toronto-based actress/playwright/director Maja Ardal's lovely one-woman show about growing up on the mean streets of Edinburgh is funny and touching in equal measure. Local actress/singer Kelly Kennedy takes on a number of characters and sings.
Doors open at 7 p.m. in the Back Room to allow patrons time to order dinner before the show. The running time of the show is just under an hour. NOTE: Although we understand your plans might change, we ask you to answer questions about dinner to allow O'Tooles to staff the back room appropriately.
