West Virginia Championship Wrestling's Miracle on the Mountain 5 in Bluefield, WV.
WVCW's Miracle on the Mountain 5 in Bluefield, WV will be Saturday night June 6th at the Auditorium on Stadium Drive.

This year's event features the man beast Rhyno. He is best known for his career in Extreme Championship Wrestling, but he has also competed for the World Wrestling Federation (later renamed World Wrestling Entertainment), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Ring of Honor and has currently been competing for WWE's NXT. He debuted professionally in 1994. Rhyno is a two time world champion, having won both the NWA and ECW World Heavyweight Championships, and is also a three time WWF Hardcore Champion, a two time (and the final) ECW Television Champion and a one time WCW United States Champion - although he won the title in the WWF following the purchase of WCW.

His opponent in the main event will be C.W. Anderson. Known as the Enforcer, he is best known for his time with Extreme Championship Wrestling. Throughout 2004 and 2005, Anderson made numerous appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment, wrestling in dark matches and on Velocity. On June 12, 2005, he appeared at the WWE promoted ECW reunion show ECW One Night Stand. On May 4, 2006, Anderson and several other Extreme Championship Wrestling alumni were hired by WWE to work on their new brand, ECW. Throughout June and July, Anderson wrestled at ECW house shows and in ECW on Sci Fi dark matches. On August 1, he became known as Christopher W. Anderson. He made what would be his ECW television appearance on August 22, 2006, losing to CM Punk.


Other featured guests are one half of the legendary Rock 'n' Roll Express, Ricky Morton. They began teaming together in Memphis in the early 1980s and they have held the NWA World Tag Team Championship four times. In the 1990s, the team reformed in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, where they held the SMW Tag Team Championship ten times. He has also worked in the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. Morton won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship on January 4th, 2014 when he defeated Chase Owens. In his career he has held almost 80 championships.


Additional returning guests include Mr. #1 George South, The Manscout Jake Manning, and $5 wrestling's internet sensation Freight Train.

George South has enjoyed an over 30 year career wrestling in every major promotion in America. WWF, WCW, ECW, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, and the list goes on and on. Having wrestled all of the greats, George has notched a career than is second to none. His promotion PWF was a mainstay in West Virginia for years and brought LIVE pro wrestling to small towns, coal camps, school gymnasiums throughout the region. George has been an accomplished trainer of wrestling stars for years and is responsible for starting the careers of Ron Killings and The Hardy Boys. Still an active wrestler, trainer, promoter, and accomplished author, George South is the embodiment of Old School.

"The Man Scout" Jake Manning is one of the hottest young superstars in professional wrestling today. Even with his current victory less streak, he is in high demand from coast to coast and always following his scout handbook.
Freight Train is the greatest internet sensation since Google. The $5 Wrestling Heavyweight champion and has created an international cult following that is second to none and like no other. He is in high demand by fans and wrestling companies alike. One of the most unique independent wrestling superstars in the world today Freight Train will "CHOO CHOO" his way to Bluefield with his eyes set on winning the Children's Miracle Network Cup in the Rumble Royal.


This night will also feature the debuts for several new stars such as Chance Prophet whom in his 16+ year career has traveled across the United States and abroad. A former National Heavyweight Champion for the NWA, Chance has wrestled for countless independent companies throughout the country. He is well versed in Greco-roman wrestling, tae kwon do, and has experience in MMA competition.

June 6th will also be the WVCW debut for Façade. He is readily recognizable for his flamboyant ring attire, including decorative bandanas, masking his face, or bright, neon-rimmed sunglasses and neon shirts. In his 9 year career, the neon ninja has won double digit championships in companies throughout the central and eastern United States.

Main Event  WWE's Rhyno vs. ECW Original C.W. Anderson

WVCW Champion Baron Bullard will defend the West Virginia Heavyweight Championship against Frank the Tank Parker.

WVCW TV Championship six man elimination match to crown a new champion between Chance Prophet, Alcaeus Cortez, Jake Manning, Façade, Timmy Lou Retton and one more competitor that will be selected at a future date.

WVCW Jr. Heavyweight Title Scramble Match between Champion Scott Raines, Jason the Gift Kincaid, Benny Conley, and Jimi the Flyin' Hippie.

WVCW Tag Team Champions the Black Skull Army will defend against Anthony Perdue and a mystery partner.

The Universal Heartthrobs put their hair on the line versus the Mighty Hojo and the mask of J.V. Insanity in a Hair vs. Mask match.

The Family of J.C. Dykes Jr., Karl, and Kayden Phoenix will square off against the Urban Death Squad of Johnny Blast & Spyder Crowley and their partner, Daniel Halen in a 6 man Bunkhouse Brawl.

Rock n Roll Ricky Morton will face long time rival Mr. #1 George South in a legends match. Both of these men have been inducted into the WVCW Hall of Fame.

The annual WVU Kids Children's Miracle Network Cup will be competed for in a Rumble Royal style match where old favorites and new faces will compete for this prestigious award.

Fans in attendance will not be disappointed to see some of the best professional wrestling action live.

Individuals with advanced purchased tickets will be admitted 15 minutes earlier per session. Take advantage of purchasing your ticket early, skip the lines, and choose the best available seats in your ticket sections.
The meet and greet will begin at approximately 5:15 for those with ringside seating (the first four rows).
Live music will be performed and regular admission will occur at 6:30, with the opening contest scheduled for 7:00.

Each year's event proceeds directly go to the WVU Children's Hospital, in Morgantown, WV, which provides specialty maternal, infant, and pediatric care for families in West Virginia and the surrounding region. They offer care to high-risk mothers, premature infants, and children with life-threatening conditions through adolescence to adulthood. To date, we have helped donated over $9,500.00.

WVU Children's Hospital is located on the 6th floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital. WVU Children's Hospital includes a pediatric and adolescent ward with 28 beds (6 East), a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 19 beds, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 39 beds, and a suite of 29 labor-delivery-post-partum rooms for the mother and infant (Maternal Infant Care Center MICC). An activity room and teen-room facilitate the rehabilitation of our young patients (Child Life Program).

Their physician and staff represent several pediatric specialty areas, including nationally recognized programs for the medical and surgical management of congenital heart disease and pediatric neurosurgery. The special tools they use for diagnosis and treatment reflect recent changes in technology so that our patients have access to the most up-to-date procedures available. Not only patients benefit from their attention their method of family-centered care makes it possible for the families and loved ones of patients to be a part of the healing process.

Ticket prices vary from $25 meet & greet to $15 general admission balcony seating. Children 5 & under are admitted into balcony seating for free.

There will be commemorative event posters available for sale; 11x17 color glossy for only $5 - great for getting those meet & greet signatures.

Meet & Greet is scheduled to begin at 5:15 with all others admitted at 6:30.

All sales are final, and the card is subject to change.
