Country comes to Lowell

Benefit concert to support V is for Veterans an organization working to assist various Veteran's groups throughout the New England region.

The Zorba Music Hall will be providing a full weekend of New England's finest up and coming country music performers.

Friday May 15 will feature a great performance by Lexi James, a 23 year old country music singer/songwriter. She is the whole package, winning over audiences wherever she appears.
One of Country Music's hottest young newcomers, Lexi has shared the stage w Charlie Daniels, Tracy Lawrence, Cody McCarver (formerly of Confederate Railroad), Daryle Singletary, and Stephen Cochran, among many others. Lexi is one of New England's top emerging artists to watch!

Joining Lexi will be fellow singer-songwriter,Robert Linscott who has toured venues on both the East and West coast as well as Europe. Robert has shared the stage with notable artists such as .38 Special and the Fixx.

Saturday May 16 performance will feature the Boston based Houston Bernard Band, with their new CD release "Knockin' Boots" scheduled for release May 7th the band is shoring up for performances throughout New England at many of the major country events throughout the region.

Joining Houston and his band will be singer Whitney Doucet. Many came to know Whitney last summer through her appearance with Keith Urban at the Comcast Center in Mansfield. Where she had the thrill of being selected to appear as a special guest on his show.
