SCAN Awards
The SCAN Awards honor programs and producers from SCAN, channel 77 on Comcast and 23 on Broadstripe in Seattle and King County. The Awards aim to reward, promote, and support contributors who aim to learn the media arts and produce quality content. Forty-one different programs were nominated were nominated by the fans in 13 categories, and additional programs/producers were nominated by staff in three special categories. The event is a cocktail reception followed by a two-hour Awards Celebration. It is open to the public, all are welcome, but tickets are limited, first come-first served. Ticket prices will increase on November 1, 2009.
