Heartless
What could cause a creature as fearsome as a giant to remove his heart from his own body? What happens to him once he does? And what becomes of the exiled, imprisoned Heart?
These questions inspire Impossible Salt's beautiful and haunting exploration of the classic folk tale "The Giant Who Had No Heart in His Body," interpreted in Impossible Salt's unique, ineffable style. Heartless draws on the traditions of shape-note singing and American folk music, with original music by Joseph Yé and a script by Emilia Allen.
