Noche Sabrosa
A Fundraising Dance Party for Social Justice! North Bay Organizing Project hosts its annual Noche Sabrosa dance party and all-you-can-eat taco/taquisa bar on Saturday, July 18 from 5-10 pm at Community 1000 Hwy 116 N, Sebastopol. Tickets are $30-$70 (sliding scale). Cumbia dance lessons are 5:30-6:30 with Sonoma Latin Arts.
This hot August party features the fiery music of Los Ritmicos, which performs salsa, cumbia and even Motown and rock and roll. Food and drink will keep you going through the night. Your ticket includes all-you-can eat taco bar--hot off the grill!--with southwest salad, fresh fruit, homemade desserts, and, with your donation, the best sangria and beer. Bring the kids and grandparents to this dance party for all ages and levels. It's the best bargain in town. The evening's highlight is the dance contest where everyone joins in the fun by dancing or cheering on their favorites. Don't be shy about joining in because the cumbia dance lessons will get you ready, and are free of charge.
