Essentials of DMH Paperwork [May 30, 2015]
This day-long workshop will introduce participants to the essential features of Department of Mental Health (DMH) paperwork. Knowledge and familiarity with the format and expectations of DMH paperwork are necessary skills for clinicians seeking employment with DMH contracted agencies and organizations.
The workshop will review: Assessments Treatment Plans/SMART Goals Documentation/Type of Service
Participants will receive a workbook with examples of completed forms and have the opportunity to practice using them during the workshop.
This workshop is designed for students and graduates of psychology and counseling (MFT, LPCC, etc.) programs who are interested in working for DMH contracted agencies. Workshop participants should have clinical training experience.
Workshop participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Course meets the qualifications for 7 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Individuals wishing to receive continuing education units for this course must present their BBS License Number and photo ID at workshop check-in.
