Workshop: Painting Believable Light: "Glow"
Painting Believable Light: "Glow" What makes a painting "glow"? What is the glowing quality that appears in the work of many master painters? How does an artist make this happen? To transmit a feeling of believable light in a painting, and to make a painting glow, the painter must make certain decisions early in the painting process. This workshop will include a comprehensive exploration of the "glow factor." Topics will include texture, transparency, and color. Fear a major problem for many artists will also be discussed. Materials list available after registration. Minimum 6, maximum 12 students
