Questionable Comedy is a monthly stand up comedy/game show hybrid sure to have you laughing. Featuring some of the best comedians NYC has to offer, audience involvement and some on the spot jokes for only $5, hosted by Christina Verde and Miles Hollis at the Producer's Club on 44th St between 8th and 9th Avenues in Manhattan.
Every month, 4 comics come together and perform their best 10-15 minute sets!
AFTER THOSE SETS, we bring everyone back out onstage and play somewhat of a "comedy truth or dare" together...If you the comedian picks "truth" we'll ask you a random question from the "book of questions" and they'll have to answer truthfully and justify their choice :) . Think of Larry Wilmore's "Keeping It 100" segment. Some examples from that book include:
"Technology has become part of us. Would you rather lose the use of all motorized vehicles, all telecommunication devices and computers, or one of your hands?"
"Would you rather watch: an Olympics that outlawed performance-enhancing drugs or one that embraced them and let athletes use medical pit crews to jack up their performances?"
If comedians pick the "dare" option, we'll be taking random suggestions from the audience and they'll have to come up with a joke or bit off the top of their head.
Essentially, it's your typical stand up show meets "Set List" meets 21 questions. and it's going to be a blast!
Lineup to include Derek Humphrey Lauren Krass Chris Williams and more TBA
