Celebrate the Arts and Culture of Cuba
For two days, Thursday April 30th and Friday May 1st celebrate the arts and culture and majestical spirit of Cuba at the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit Arts and Politics, 99 Sixth St, Santa Rosa; one block north of RailRoad Square. Our main feature is "Feminine Voices and Poetics", the largest exhibition of female contemporary artist from Cuba. The Artworks are hosted both days by Paulo Cabezas. Our music entertainment on Thursday is local Cuban Troubadour Ariel Garcia and Afro/cuban dance music with Ernesto Cardenas and latin funk DJ's. Fridays local afro latin jazz Legends "Orchestra Batacha Sonoma County" for our May 1 lineup along with Ariel Garcia returning. Cuban food treats will be available for sale; catered by "Conscious Culinary Sonoma" Viewing of art and music event is 6:30-11:30 Thursday and Friday. Donations of $8-$12. Beer and wind for sale
