Kids' Canal Camp

Wouldn't you like to send your kids or grandkids back in time? At least for a day? Kids Canal Camp may be your answer. Offered Wednesdays from June 24 to August 19, the new D&L summer camp program introduces kids to canal life and early industry along the Lehigh River, all without the aid of a computer screen. We offer multiple hands on activities, a canal boat ride, a museum scavenger hunt, bike riding and geocaching on the D&L Trail, and a one-on-one with our boat-pulling mules, Hank and George. It's a day your kids or grandkids are not apt to forget! Sound good? Just choose a Wednesday between June 24 and August 19 and bring your children to the National Canal Museum in Hugh Moore Park, Easton. D&L staff and volunteer docents will immerse your kids in 19th-century canal life from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m We're keeping classes cozy by enrolling only 15 students of ages 8 - 12 on a first-come, first-served basis.
