Sky High Tomato Dinner with Joseph Leonard
Sit down to a veritable tomato feast, a night with the nightshades. Meet our Moneymakers - the little red juicy guys - and their striated sisters of Solar Flair. Their bruiser little brothers, the Purple Bumble Bees, may also make an appearance. What are we talking about? The tomatoes of course!
Ever-popular West Village restaurant Joseph Leonard shares deep roots with Brooklyn Grange - the restaurant's founder Gabriel Stulman went to University of Wisconsin Madison with our head farmer & president Ben Flanner. Tomato Fest is an annual Joseph Leonard tradition, hosted at the restaurant for one week each September when our tomatoes take over their menu. This year, the 5th Annual Tomato Fest will be kicking off with a special dinner at Brooklyn Grange. Like Tomato Fest itself, this dinner will celebrate the season, experienced through the tomato's versatility, various shapes, colors and sizes, and general deliciousness.
We hope you'll join us for what is bound to be a memorable evening of the summer harvest. The beverages will be free flowing as sweet tunes drift over a banquet-style table atop Brooklyn Grange's Navy Yard Farm.
The menu is suitable for both vegetarians and omnivores alike. Tickets are non-refundable due to high demand. The event will take place rain or shine as the space is protected.

Located in the heart of the West Village on Waverly Place and Grove, Joseph Leonard is a casual West Village neighborhood spot with heart and soul serving seasonal American food in a welcoming, relaxed setting. Opened by restaurateur Gabriel Stulman and team in 2009, Joseph Leonard was created to serve as an all-day gathering place for neighbors and visitors alike. Joseph Leonard is part of the Happy Cooking Hospitality family of restaurants, which also includes Jeffrey's Grocery, Fedora, Perla, Montmartre and Bar Sardine.
