WHEELS WILL TURN by Kelsey Fehlner and Samuel Aaron Tolley
When five college students decide to hit the road for spring break, their trip is perfectly lined from D.C. to L.A. In plain view, there are no bumps in the road, no inclement weather, and no stopping for directions. However, it's difficult to notice how smooth the road is when each of them has their own windy path to maneuver. Logan sees the trip as an adventure, and hopes to make amends with Zach, who, since high school, has become a completely different person. Zach insists on bringing his girlfriend, Katie, along who is clueless about Zach's past. Logan's best friend Rose tries to keep everything steady without worrying about her own problems, and Teddy, well, is seemingly just along for the ride. After days of traveling, reminiscing, and arguing, a sudden obstacle in the road forces the friends to gain some perspective. They must keep traveling, and as they move forward their trip becomes a lesson. The group may not know exactly what direction they're going, but at least the wheels are turning.
