Urban Bush Women Master Class
The American University Dance Program will host a master class with renowned dance company Urban Bush Women Saturday, April 18 at 11:30 AM - 1 PM in the Katzen Arts Center dance studio (Rm 152) on the campus of American University.
Urban Bush Women (UBW) is committed to dancing powerful under-told stories of the African diaspora through the vision of its award-winning founder Jawole Willa Jo Zollar. The company is highly sought after and is renowned for its heart-stopping performances in the US, Canada, as well as internationally.
This master class at AU is made possible through a partnership with American Dance Institute (ADI). Urban Bush Women will be performing their work "Walking with 'Trane, Chapter 2" at ADI Apr 17-18.
