Ground Operations Movie Reception with the Hollywood Director - Walla Walla Elks #287 - Registration
Walla Walla Elks #287 will hold a fundraising event and host Hollywood director/producer, Dulanie Ellis to showcase her film about "Ground Operations," (www.groundoperations.net) - a social action program helping our veterans reclaim their lives through careers in farming, ranching, sustainable agriculture and artisan food production.
5:30-6:30pm - Reception
6:30-7:15 - Movie with Hollywood Director
7:15-8pm - Panel of experts, veterans and farmers discussing issues facing our veterans - how local farming, ranching and artisan food production communities can help.
More than 700,000 veterans are jobless and nearly 12 percent return from their service to the unemployment line. Ground Operations is helping to turn this around, bringing hope and healing to our veterans.
