Here is what Colwell said about the upcoming show at The Chop Shop ...
"I am thrilled and delighted to be heading back over the pond, with my band in tow to rock the brand new Chop Shop! I've heard so many great things about the place, the staff and the energy the place has, as well as the extraordinary work done to open the new and improved Chop Shop following the recent snow disaster!! Expect a loud and rocking evening! My band and I take no prisoners! See ya on May 9th!" - Dave 'Bucket' Colwell
Joining Colwell for this show in New Hampshire is English lead vocalist Jim Stapley, who has previously worked with Kenny Jones (The Who/Faces) and has performed on stage with Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones. He has recently released his debut solo album and possesses a great energy on stage and a powerful rock voice that no one will forget.
On second guitar is Colwell's right hand man Ross McEwen, a Scottish session guitarist who is making a great name for himself collaborating with many classic rock artists, including members of Rainbow, Nazareth, Foreigner and many more, as well as leading his own band ROADWAY.
On bass is a Massachusetts local hero Ray McNamara who is a Berklee graduate and tutors at the Westnewbury School of Music.
The drummer Ryan McEwen, also from Scotland who since the age of 16 has been sharing the stage with rock royalty and is blazing a trail for himself as an exceptional drummer.
"I've been lucky enough to work with Dave all over the world in places big and small and I can very safely say that the band are very very excited about this show, biker bars/venues are always a place where the very best rock fans and rock music lovers come to make a lot of noise and have a great time and American audiences know their rock and ALWAYS deliver as amazing audiences! The set list for the night has already been written and is packed full of favourites, definitely will be one of my favourite set lists that I'll have played with Dave, we'll be rehearsing in Scotland in a few weeks to get ready for it, SO BE READY CHOP SHOP!!...we're coming!!!" - Ross McEwen
