SATURDAY NIGHT - "Live on the Green Carpet"
The Mental Health Guild (MHG) is hosting a fundraiser to benefit MIKID (Mentally Ill Kids in Distress) at 6 pm on Saturday, May 2nd, at the Starfire Golf Club in Scottsdale.
It will be a really fun night with non-stop entertainment which will include music by Lisa Hopkinson, Ron Rice & DJ Mike Henry; comedy by Carrie Carson & Jake Edward; a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, wine tasting and, of course, a delicious dinner.
We will also honor 3 distinguished volunteers who have done so much during their lives to improve mental health care in Arizona.
Patsy Kelly will be there to receive an award for her 43 years volunteering for the Mental Health Guild as well as several other charitable organizations, including MHA and the Phoenix Theatre.
Steve Carter and Sam Engram will be honored, in memoriam, as long- time dedicated MIKID board members who did so much to improve mental health care for children and adults in Arizona.
Guests are encouraged to dress as a celebrity in the theme of Saturday Night Live or wear green which is the color that signifies May is Mental Health Month.
Seating is limited. Early bird tickets are only $75 until April 24th. After 4/24/15, prices are full price at $100.
