YOUNG Awards Gala

Club Stride, Inc. cordially invites you to attend the 2015 YOUNG Awards Gala. We are rolling out the RED CARPET in a star studded celebration for Bay Area youth of excellence. We have worked diligently to recognize Bay Area young men and women who, in spite of tremendous obstacles, are bold contributors to community, church and/or family. Our YOUNG nominees set a bar or standard of excellence in the youth community that should be nurtured and acknowledged openly for others to see and emulate. They are talented humanitarians and leaders who live determined, interesting lives that are notable and admirable. They are poets, actors, dancers, singers and powerful speakers who are using their talent to impact YOUTH CULTURE and the world around them. This is their EXPOSE' and celebration!

The overall vision of our organization is to encourage youth involvement that challenges negative stereotypes in today's youth culture. In our effort to strengthen and make our organizations vision a reality, we will be presenting scholarships in three categories: Leadership, humanitarianism and determination at our YOUNG Talent Expose' and Awards Gala on April 17, 2015 at the Dan Foley Cultural Center, Vallejo. Join us for this soiree of glitz, entertainment, food and fun.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Hype 808 Radio, which is a faith-based, youth centered radio talk show and is the only radio production of its kind. The organization is working to successfully syndicate Hype 808 Radio in order to position it as a source of support for young men and women throughout the country and abroad. It is unique and highly specialized in the area of broadcast media and is primarily administered by youth. It broadcasts every Saturday at 7:00 PM on KDYA 1190AM The light.
