Paolo Bea Wine Dinner at Piccino

Members of the Bea family have been living in the hills of Montefalco since 1500. Since they moved into the area, little has changed at their classic, self-sustaining Italian fattoria. Bea is one of Italy's most passionately devoted natural winemakers, and a founding member of Vini Veri, a tradition-minded group devoted to non-interventionist winemaking.

Paola Bea's son, Giampiero will be at Piccino to showcase not only his wines, but also a new project he is working on with Neal Rosenthal and Sicilian winemaker Gaetano Gargano; Il Censo. We have joined forces with our neighbor and friend, Wayne Garcia of DIG to offer all the wines for you to purchase and take home!

We're doing things a little differently this time so that more wine lovers and foodies can participate. It will be a casual affair, with the entire dining room experiencing the wonderful 4-course menu with wine pairings. You'll have six wines in total, with one course coming with a side-by-side tasting.

We'll use every seat in the dining room, including the communal tables & the chef's counter. We have room for a couple of larger groups (up to 10 people), too. You can book a table anytime from 5 to 9pm. So join us!! Bring a friend, a group, or whomever. But whatever you do, bring a desire to eat, drink, talk, make friends and make merry with the folks from Bea and your fellow diners.
