Takedown Swap Shop

How it works:

1) Buy a ticket here and you're automatically added to the 'Swap Discussion Group'. Here you can let other attendees know what you're looking for as well as get an idea of what other people want. (Note: You must sign up for the event ahead of time in order to participate)

2) Gather 10 items to be swapped. Email list of items you're going to bring to takedownswap@gmail.com (at least a week before the swap)

3) Show up with your items at 11:00 A.M. at the Black Birch parking lot. Tag your items (tags provided) and place them in their category area.

4) Browse other items and decide what you want. Mark tag numbers of you 10 favorite items on provided clipboard. Once you've made your 10 selections, submit your clipboard to the registration tent.

5) Relax and listen to live music by Tell Stories, Wren Kitz, and Shayla Riggs. In this time we will organize everyone's selections and draw straws for items that multiple people selected.

6) Grab your clipboards and claim the circled items. If a certain amount of items you selected went to someone else, you may re-browse for that amount of items.

7) Bring your new treasures home and enjoy! The remaining unclaimed items will be donated to local thrift shops (unless the items are huge in which case the person who brought it must take it back)

Tools, Furniture, Toys, *Books (limit 6), *Clothes (No socks or Undergarments), Sports Equipment, Kitchenware, Bikes, Art

(All items must be safe, hygenic, and not broken)

*items count as half an item (Ex. 20 shirts or books would count as ten items)

Weapons, Electronics, Food, Mattresses, office Supplies, Animals, Rocks, TVs, CDs, Cosmetics, Chemicals

If we deem an item unsafe or hazardous, we will not allow it to enter the swap. :(
