stARTup Art Fair, May 1-3, 2015
stARTup Art Fair is San Francisco's independently produced contemporary art fair for unrepresented artists. Located at the Hotel Del Sol in San Francisco's scenic Marina neighborhood, it's within walking distance to the Art Market San Francisco contemporary art fair at Fort Mason's Festival Pavilion.
* Our VIP Opening Gala reception will be Friday, May 1st from 8pm to 10pm. Tickets are $100 and ticket proceeds for this event benefit Root Division, a visual arts non-profit that connects creativity and community through a dynamic ecosystem of arts education, exhibitions, and studios.
VIP Opening Gala tickets include entry into the event plus admission to the fair all three days during public hours. The Gala features a bar sponsored by Campari America that will include creative signature cocktails made by local mixologists Rye on the Road, wine sponsored by Flora Springs Winery, beer sponsored by Pilsner Urquell and Blue Moon Brewing Company, amazing culinary treats catered by Paula Shiu, live music by Cotillon (curated by Noise Pop), art performances, and access to the artwork of over 50 artists and non-profit arts organizations selected from across the country. Ticketed guests also receive 3-Hour validated parking at Lombard Garage (entrance on Moulton St. between Webster & Fillmore...1/2 block from the fair.)

***PLEASE NOTE: Hosted cocktails, wines, and beer are available ONLY to our guests 21 years of age and over. If you wish to enjoy the alcohol being served, a valid ID will be required; hand stamps will be issued at the ticket desk.***
* General Admission tickets are good for one-day admission to the fair during Public hours:
Friday May 1 Noon-7pm
(Please note: General Admission tickets are not valid for the VIP Opening Gala. To purchase tickets for the Gala, which also includes admission to the fair all three days during public hours, please choose 'Fri May 01, 2015 8:00 PM' from the Date drop-down menu.)
Saturday May 2 Noon-8pm, including an after party 8-10pm featuring music by Natural Curves and Running in the Fog (curated by Noise Pop).
Sunday May 3 Noon-6pm, including a closing BBQ 6-8pm.
Tickets are $8 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets or $10 at the door. 50% of each General Admission ticket sold will go to the Susan O'Malley Memorial Fund for the Arts, which will support emerging artists and commission a permanent installation of Susan's work. Susan was an artist and friend, a trusted colleague, and a member of the stARTup Art Fair Advisory Council.
