Schlafly Ibex Series Launch Party
Join us April 18th from Noon-3pm at the Schlafly Tap Room for this very limited-ticket event: the Ibex Series Launch Party! Not only will you be one of first people able to purchase the inaugural Ibex Series style, Lazy Ballerina, you will also have the chance to sample 8 beer styles pulled from our Tap Room cellar. These barrel-aged Schlafly Beers aren't something you will come across everyday, but instead have been chosen to help accompany this Ibex Series celebration! Meet some of our brewers while you sip on the rare Schlafly cellar offerings and get the inside scoop on our new Ibex Series! Tickets are limited, so get yours quickly!
$12 ticket price includes 8 different Schlafly barrel-aged cellar tastings, a commemorative Ibex Series branded snifter and the ability to purchase up to six (6) bottles of Lazy Ballerina.
Schlafly's Ibex Series Lazy Ballerina is the lovechild that resulted from a marriage of grape and grain. Named for the trellis that a wine grapevine is grown on, Lazy Ballerina is a French-style Saison brewed with Chambourcin grapes from Chandler Hill Vinyards in Missouri, creating a unique merger of fruity fermented beer and velvety, earthy wine. The young ale was then aged in barrels from a previous vintage of Chandler Hill's Chambourcin wine. Now our baby is all grown up and ready to debut as the first in our new IBEX Series beers.
