Mr. Hiroaki Tohgi, Chief Court Musician of Japan's Imperial Household Agency, is generously presenting this lecture and demonstration of Gagaku, the world's longest unbroken tradition of classical music with over 1,300 years of history behind it.
Admission is FREE, open to the public and accessible in English through live interpretation.
At the end of the session, participants will have the chance to try a short piece as an ensemble.
