907 Gamer's AvaLANche: Winter Meltdown
What is AvaLANche: Winter Meltdown?
AvaLANche is what we call all our Winter LAN gaming events. "Arctic Meltdown" is the code name we used for this specific event. We bring a multitude of PCs, Consoles, and other gaming equipment, and hook them up in a large public space and spend an epic night of gaming together as a community. There will be many scheduled game-specific events during AvaLANche. This is a very fast paced event!

When is AvaLANche?
The event starts at 2:00pm on April 18th (Saturday). This is the time at which Tier 1 ticket holders will be able to enter the space and start setting up their PC or console. The event needs to come to an end at 1:00am on Sunday.

Gaming System Setup
This is a bring your own system event for the most part. Some stations will have room for people to take turns playing but we do encourage participants to bring a PC, Xbox, Playstation, etc. You will also need your own display, preferably a 20-25 inch display. It is also extremely helpful if you bring your own ethernet cord and surge protector. PLEASE DOWNLOAD ALL GAMES AND PATCHES BEFORE SHOWING UP TO THE LAN. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IF YOU TRY TO DOWNLOAD GBs of DATA!

Oculus Rift
We will have have a dedicated Oculus Rift DK2 station set up with different control setups! There will be multiple genres to try out. Prepare to be immersed in virtual reality!

As a reminder, please keep your area clean and tidy. You are your own janitor.
