2015 Slalom Competition at Oaks Park, Portland
Lace up your skates, Its time for the USA's first Freestyle World Slalom Series event in 2015. Quad skates and Inlines welcome. Beginning or advance all will compete together. For beginners this is a amazing opportunity to come and learn the sport and really improve you skating.
Workshop:)
We start with a optional Workshop Saturday 5-7 in the Oaks rink, This leads right into Public skate where we can practice those skills just learned.
Competition
We will start the day early with Speed slalom, take on the 20 cones as fast as you dare and then quickly move into battle rounds. We are looking to have junior rounds and adults.
At 1pm we will move out of the rink into the for a optional lunch, awards and pairs workshop/demo in the pavilion.
From Out of town or local come early or stay late and enjoy all the fun of Oaks Amusement Park which will be open in all its glory.
