Jose's Play - Ithaca Fringe Festival
Whose play is this? Jack is comfortably sitting in his South Hill house writing a play about his childhood friend Jose when guess who comes knocking at his door? As Jack's play is read, lines blur between past and present, fiction and fact. Written and performed by local Equity actor Jacob Garrett White and directed by the "grandfather" of the Cincinnati Fringe Theatre (and last year's winner of the Ithaca Fringe Festival's Andrew D. Dixon award, Michael Burnham, this three-person play within a play (within a play?) examines questions of privilege, guilt, and the power of friendship.
