Have you always wished you could join into Jewish life, but felt too uninformed or insecure to try? Would you like a refresher course in what makes Judaism tick? Do the words "religion" or "God" make you uncomfortable, but you still feel curious to know and understand your Jewish (self) (history)? This might be the workshop for you. "User-Friendly Judaism" is an experiential introduction to Jewish practice and thought, with an emphasis on the joy and fulfillment inherent in this wise and beautiful tradition. We will follow the rhythms of the Sabbath as a natural and inspiring scaffolding for our learning. Whether or not you are Jewish, you are welcome to partake. There are no wrong questions, and there will be good nourishment for the mind and spirit. Join us!
