TAPPING INTO THE GIFTS OF COMMUNITY
Tapping Into The Gifts of Community is a Celebration and FUNdraiser with all proceeds to benefit the Scholarship Fund for the Be Present National Conference on Race, Gender, Power and Class coming up this fall at the Earthrise Retreat Center in Petaluma.
Believing that the arts can serve as a powerful tool of expression, alliance building, and public engagement, Be Present invites you for an evening of music, song, dance and spoken word.
The evening's program will feature a diverse array of Be Present community members and local activists along with participants in the National Training Institute on Race, Gender, Power and Class.
There will be Food Vendors featuring Chef Yulanda along with Babsi's Viennese Treats offering organic, vegan and gluten free options.
There will be a Silent Auction and Raffle with many prizes offered by our wonderful community. You do not need to be present to win, but if you are present you can pick your prize. Please call us if you want to find out more about this.
Chair massages will also be available.
You do not need to attend in order to participate: If you are unable to attend, please consider making a contribution directly on our website www.BePresent.org. Every dollar you give is an investment in social justice leadership. Our scholarship fund ensures economic diversity for the Be Present National Conference on Race, Gender, Power & Class in Petaluma, CA on Sept 24 -27, 2015.
