CAYA Coven's Festival of Bliss & Bleassings
CAYA COVEN INVITES YOU TO THE FESTIVAL OF BLISS & BLESSINGS
HOSTED BY THE EKSTASIS GILD
DIVINE EMBODIMENT
If it were not for us and our bodies as temples, such ecstasies of Life & Living, the Divine would never know.
This year CAYA Coven's Festival of Bliss & Blessings, hosted by the Ekstasis Gild, will be offered as a ritual of dance movement and trance meditation. Our ritual tool for this night will be the Body Temple - the sacred vessel which holds our precious divinity and our tenuous connection to the Divine. Join us as we celebrate the Body Temple through presence, music, and dance. In gratitude, we give honor to Dionysus, God of fruitful epiphanies and liberation through music and dance. Those who partake of his mysteries are empowered by the God himself. His gift returns us to our natural embodied state and self-authentic presence.
The space & ritual will also accommodate those with limited mobility, different abilities, limited endurance, etc; so all may be fully present and participate without having to dance or even dance continually. At this ritual one may choose to offer one's Self through sacred dance movement or contemplative stillness in ever-present trance.
Water and refreshing beverages will be provided during the ritual.
All are invited to bring an instrument to play and join in the musical offering.
There will also be opportunities for "gift exchanges." Those most interested in participating in the trance activity of the ritual are invited to "be present" as an anchor for a dancer. Dancers are invited to offer to dance the Ekstasis for someone holding sacred presence. In this way, the exchange facilitates connectedness between participants of the various ritual activities and highlights our sacred interconnectedness to one another.
There will be socializing and cakes and ale afterwards.
NOW IS THE TIME TO DANCE THE ECSTATIC DANCE AND BE MOST EVER-PRESENT!
