Yahara River Chorus & Quartets
The Yahara River Chorus & Quartets Present Heartfelt Harmonies: A delightful performance of songs, old and new, by members of the award-winning Yahara River Chorus with special appearances from By Request and BassLine quartets.
Yahara River Chorus is a group of women from varying backgrounds who share one passion: Singing. Members come from twelve southern Wisconsin counties to sing four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. This includes both traditional and contemporary music from varied genres such as gospel, swing, and be-bop, covering artists and composers such as Billy Joel, the Beatles, and Irving Berlin. Yahara River Chorus has a song for every occasion! Proud members of Region 22 of Sweet Adelines International.
By Request: The award-winning By Request Quartet has been singing together since 2010, and collectively bring over 50 years of experience to the barbershop table. They enjoy singing from many different genres, and would love to sing for you!
BassLine: A unique blend of voices out of the Bass section of the chorus formed a quartet that features swing-style jazzy uptunes and ballads.
