Design Goes to the Opera
Design Goes to the Opera, JULY 16, 2015, is Goldstein Museum of Design's 6th Annual Benefit.  Spend a summer evening in the Mill Ruins Courtyard, exploring how design forms opera's music, costumes, props, wigs, and makeup.  Enjoy entertainment provided by our program partner,Mill City Summer Opera, in a location that made Minneapolis an industrial powerhouse, and help raise funds for GMD's accessible design learning experiences, including an online collection and free admission to exhibitions.

This is a Rain-or-Shine event!

Honorary Chair for the event is Tom Fisher, best known as Dean of the College of Design, and future head of the College's Metropolitan Design Center, known for its innovative ideas to meet the needs of urban environments.
