Trivia for Tedy's Team
Unbeknownst to many, stroke is the 5th leading cause of death among Americans, and the 3rd among women. Because eighty percent of strokes are preventable, raising awareness is extremely important.
On April 20th, 2015, I will celebrate my 699th day as a stroke survivor by running the Boston Marathon with Tedy's Team, an organization which raises funds for stroke research, prevention, and treatment. With each step, we are advocating for survivors, honoring those whose lives were lost to stroke, and spreading hope for an end to this condition.
Please join me for an evening of trivia, prizes, and a silent auction to raise funds for Tedy's Team! Tickets are $35 or two for $60, and include refreshments provided by Tom Douglas, wine, and beer. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday night, April 2nd at 7:00 pm!
"The real finish line is an end to stroke."
