Next Year in Jerusalem
**One dollar of every ticket purchase will be donated to HIAS, a charitable organization providing rescue and refuge for persecuted Jews around the world.**
NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM, winner of the Humboldt State University National Play Contest in California, transitions between modern New York and Poland during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising as Holocaust-survivor Moshe struggles with his bitterness and lack of faith. A resident of Elizaville, NY, playwright Brian C. Petti's plays have been produced Off-Off Broadway, regionally, and beyond. His The Love Song of Sidney J. Stein was part of NYC's Fresh Fruit Festival in 2013. Published plays include The Measure of a Man by JAC Publishing and Promotions, Banshee by Next Stage Press, and Echoes of Ireland by Eldridge Plays & Musicals.
This production marks the third time Mr. Petti's work has been staged at the Ritz. Hatmaker's Attic, in partnership with Safe Harbors of the Hudson and Mr. Petti, has previously produced his The Love Song of Sidney J. Stein (2013) and Echoes of Ireland (2014).
